Demand-Responsive Transport platform, Padam Mobility, has appointed bus innovator, Jack Holland as Business Developer in the UK. Jack returns to buses and public transport after a period working for innovative transport technology start-ups and will join efforts with David Carnero at Padam Mobility.

Jack originally joined the bus industry as a graduate trainee at Arriva, getting to grips with the business of running bus operations in the Home Counties. He went on to spend 2 years managing over 100 vehicles over 5 counties before setting up the first app-driven public transport on-demand bus service.

In 2017, he was a central part of the team that launched Arriva’s ArrivaClick service in Sittingbourne. From that cutting edge start, which drew passengers from car and taxi travel, he went on to win further projects to establish ArrivaClick services in Leicester (the first DDRT service funded by S106 in the uk) and Liverpool, launching the 25 vehicle service in 2018.

Jack is the perfect person for this role. He understands the bus industry in the UK and the needs and concerns of local authorities as well as the potential for on-demand services to provide cost-effective and passenger-friendly solutions at this crucial time as we emerge from the pandemic and move forward with Bus Back Better“. Grégoire Bonnat, Co-founder and CEO, Padam Mobility

I am really excited to be working to develop demand responsive transport with Padam Mobility in the UK. The Padam Mobility platform has the potential to solve many of the issues faced by the first generation of on-demand services and is backed up by real understanding and experience of delivering flexible buses as part of public transport. If you’re interested in talking about how we can help set up rural and urban flexible bus services, I’d be happy to hear from you”. Jack Holland. Business Developper, Padam Mobility
