The aim of the TCL à la Demande networks is toprovide concrete mobility solutions to the less dense areas of Lyon's urban area: transport of the labour force during rush hour, service of the first and last kilometre from/to the existing network, internal service to isolated areas or particularly difficult areas to cover by traditional modes.
Padam Mobility has deployed its dynamic and intelligent DRT solutions in two areas of the Lyon region:
- Mi-Plaine, an important employment area with 1375 companies and 20,000 employees
- Techlid, mixing business and residential areas
Perfectly integrated into the existing network - thanks to identical pricing, and eventually powered by CNG - two fleets of vehicles crisscross the two territories to complement the TCL's offer with complete flexibility. Since the Covid-19 crisis, the service has been adapted to meet new health requirements.
