Novus Felx Service in New Lubbesthorpe

NovusFlex is a service from Demand-Responsive Transport that will allow people to move around the New Lubbesthorpe neighborhood and access jobs and services in the nearby towns of Leicester and Narborough. New Lubbesthorpe is a new development located between Leicester and Narborough. The service, launched in August 2022 and operated by Vectare, will complement a regular shuttle service between the development and downtown Leicester.

New Lubbesthorpe's landowner and lead developer, The Drummond Estate, funded the service to provide residents with attractive and flexible transportation options. Go Travel Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in sustainable mobility solutions, served as the lead consultant in the design and installation of this innovative transportation service.

The NovusFlex service operates Monday through Sunday between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., allowing residents to not only get to work or school, but also to access local services or visit nearby cities. The service can be booked by users via an app, phone or online.
