"With Demand-Responsive transport, we intend to start stretching connections between urban areas and peripheral communes and thus alleviate the problems of mobility in the areas with low population density".
Up to 1000
rides per month
With a surface area of nearly 1,440 km², the community of urban areas of Cotentin is the 2nd largest community of urban areas in France, mostly composed of rural and sparsely populated areas. The LaSaire TAD service has been set up by Padam Mobility, in collaboration with the local operator Zephir (Keolis), in order to facilitate travel in between peripherical areas and access to the city centre of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin from the outlying towns.
The La Saire TAD service was tested for 6 months and was a great success, especially among young people under 18 years old who represented the largest share of users.
